Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026
At Learn The Psych ("Learn The Psych", "we", "us", or "our"), we aim to provide high-quality psychology coaching, courses, training programmes and educational resources. Because our programmes may include immediate access to digital content, live classes, recorded lectures, study materials and other educational resources, the following Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made through our website or other authorized enrolment channels.
1. Applicability
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to fees paid for Learn The Psych courses, coaching programmes, workshops, training programmes, webinars, study programmes and other paid educational services, unless a specific programme clearly states different refund terms at the time of enrolment.
By making a payment, the student acknowledges that they have reviewed the applicable refund terms.
2. General Refund Principle
Fees paid for Learn The Psych programmes are generally non-refundable once the student has received access to the programme, course materials, recorded content, learning platform or classes, except in circumstances specifically covered by this policy or where a refund is required under applicable law.
This is because educational services may involve immediate allocation of faculty time, course access, digital resources, learning-platform access and other resources that cannot practically be returned once provided.
3. Cancellation Before Programme Commencement
A student may request cancellation before the scheduled commencement of a programme.
Where a cancellation request is made before the programme begins and before course materials or digital access have been provided, Learn The Psych may consider a refund after deducting any applicable administrative, payment-gateway or processing charges.
The applicable refund amount, if any, will be determined according to the specific programme's published terms.
4. Cancellation After Programme Commencement
Once a student has:
- attended a live class;
- accessed recorded lectures;
- accessed study materials;
- received login credentials;
- accessed the learning platform;
- downloaded course resources; or
- otherwise commenced use of the programme,
the fees will ordinarily be non-refundable.
This applies even if the student subsequently decides not to continue, does not attend further classes, or is unable to complete the programme for personal reasons.
5. Digital Content and Recorded Courses
For programmes involving immediate access to digital content, including recorded lectures, PDFs, question banks, mock tests, notes or other downloadable/streamable educational resources, refunds may not be available once access to the digital content has been provided, subject to applicable law.
6. Change of Mind
Refunds will generally not be provided merely because a student:
- changes their mind;
- finds the programme unsuitable after enrolment;
- decides to pursue another course;
- no longer wishes to prepare for the relevant examination;
- does not have sufficient time to attend;
- does not attend classes;
- experiences a change in personal plans; or
- purchases a programme by mistake after having reviewed the programme information.
Students are encouraged to review the course description, eligibility, syllabus, duration, mode of delivery and other relevant information before purchasing.
7. Duplicate or Accidental Payments
If a student has been charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical or payment-processing error, the duplicate amount may be refunded after verification.
Students should contact Learn The Psych with the relevant transaction details.
8. Failed or Reversed Transactions
If money has been debited from a student's account but the Learn The Psych enrolment/payment system does not successfully record the transaction, the student should provide the relevant payment or transaction reference.
Where the payment has not been received by Learn The Psych, the matter may need to be resolved through the relevant payment gateway or banking channel.
Where Learn The Psych receives a duplicate or excess payment, the applicable excess amount may be refunded after verification.
9. Programme Cancellation by Learn The Psych
If Learn The Psych cancels a programme before it begins and is unable to offer a reasonable alternative, students who have paid for that programme may be eligible for a refund of the applicable programme fee.
Where reasonably possible, Learn The Psych may alternatively offer:
- transfer to another batch;
- an alternative programme;
- rescheduling; or
- another reasonable solution.
The options available may depend on the circumstances and the particular programme.
10. Change in Faculty or Schedule
A change in faculty, mentor, class timing, session date, teaching sequence, platform or other reasonable operational arrangement does not automatically entitle a student to a refund.
Learn The Psych may make reasonable changes to ensure continuity of the programme.
Where a material change substantially affects the programme, Learn The Psych will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative or solution.
11. Batch Transfer
Where permitted for a particular programme, a student may request transfer to another batch instead of requesting a refund.
Batch transfers are subject to:
- availability;
- programme-specific rules;
- applicable deadlines; and
- administrative requirements.
A batch transfer is not automatically available for every programme.
12. Instalment Payments
Where a programme permits payment in instalments, the student's payment obligation will be governed by the applicable enrolment terms.
Failure to pay a subsequent instalment may result in suspension of course access.
A student discontinuing participation after enrolment will not automatically be entitled to a refund of amounts already paid.
Where applicable, Learn The Psych may also require payment of outstanding amounts that became contractually due under the agreed instalment arrangement, subject to applicable law.
13. Promotional Offers and Discounts
Where a programme has been purchased using a promotional offer, scholarship, coupon, discount or special pricing arrangement, any refund or cancellation will be subject to the terms applicable to that offer.
Discounts or promotional benefits may not be transferable or convertible into cash unless expressly stated otherwise.
14. Refund Request Procedure
Refund requests must be submitted through:
Email: info@learnthepsych.com
The request should include:
- student's full name;
- registered email address;
- registered mobile number;
- programme/course name;
- payment date;
- transaction/reference number; and
- reason for the refund request.
Learn The Psych may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction.
15. Refund Review
Receipt of a refund request does not automatically mean that a refund has been approved.
Each request will be reviewed against this policy and the terms applicable to the relevant programme.
Where a refund is approved, Learn The Psych will communicate the approved amount and the applicable processing procedure.
16. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method, wherever technically and reasonably possible.
The time taken for the refund to appear in the student's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.
Third-party payment-processing charges, where applicable and non-recoverable, may be deducted where permitted by the applicable terms and law.
17. Exceptional Circumstances
Learn The Psych may, at its reasonable discretion, consider requests arising from exceptional circumstances.
Such consideration does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund and will depend on the circumstances, the stage of the programme and the extent of services or content already provided.
18. Misconduct and Termination
Where a student's access is suspended or terminated because of serious misconduct, including:
- sharing login credentials;
- unauthorized recording;
- unauthorized distribution of course material;
- cheating;
- fraud;
- harassment;
- abusive behaviour; or
- other serious violations of Learn The Psych's Terms & Conditions,
fees will ordinarily not be refundable, subject to applicable law.
19. Examination, Admission and Career Outcomes
Fees paid for coaching or educational services are not refundable merely because a student:
- does not qualify for an examination;
- does not obtain a desired score;
- does not secure admission;
- does not obtain a particular rank;
- does not receive an internship;
- does not obtain employment; or
- does not achieve the expected academic or career outcome.
Learn The Psych provides educational support and coaching but cannot control external examination, admission, recruitment or selection decisions.
20. Consumer and Legal Rights
Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
Where applicable law provides a consumer with a mandatory right to cancellation, refund or other remedy, that legal right will prevail over any inconsistent provision of this policy.
21. Changes to the Refund Policy
Learn The Psych may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The updated policy will be published on the website with the revised "Last Updated" date.
The version applicable to a particular purchase will generally be the policy and programme-specific terms communicated at the time of that purchase, subject to applicable law.
